Although it is possible to install more memory, the system will only recognize 512MB maximum.
The 32MB "non-removable" part is physically removable, but cannot be removed as it is an HP proprietary Firmware/DRAM module. This module resides in the first socket. DRAM upgrades should be installed in the 2nd or next available socket. |
