Motherboard ships with no base memory installed. Minimum memory size is 32MB. Supports both ECC (HighPerTEC p/n KVR100X72RC2/xxx) and non-ECC (HighPerTEC p/n VR100X64SC2/xxx) SDRAM. Intel strongly suggests the use of ECC memory in server environments.
HighPerTEC supports unbuffered ECC (VR100X72C2/128) and registered ECC (KVR100X72RC2/1024) memory.
Unbuffered and Registered modules CANNOT be mixed.
