First eight sockets (A0 and B0) MUST BE POPULATED WITH IDENTICAL modules. This allows for four-way interleaving. The system will not function if any of the Processor/Memory Cards have less then eight sockets populated.
Optimal configuration when all 16 sockets are populated with identical modules, this allows for eight-way interleaving.
Although it is physically possible to install more memory, the system will only recognize 96GB maximum. Do not exceed 24GB per Processor/Memory Card.
This system supports up to four Processor/Memory Cards, each supporting two CPUs. |
