Once the amount of cache has been upgraded, the process for returning to the original configuration involves reformatting the entire array.
For Single RAID controllers, modules may be installed one at a time. However, if a second module is installed, it MUST be same capacity.
For Dual RAID controllers, modules MUST be installed in like pairs (same capacities) over both controllers for proper memory interleaving. |
